Well done to our Under 11 hurlers on some fine victories at today’s Blitz in The Ragg.
We had a narrow victory over Newport BNS in our first game before defeating Killea NS comprehensively in our second match.
In the final, we were defeated by a superior Leugh NS team.
Hard luck to our wonderful young team on missing out on a much coveted place in the County Final which takes place in June.
Special thanks to Audrey, Marie, Michael & Rosie for providing transport & support on the day also.

Well done to our excellent Under 11 Football Squad who went down heroically today at the Under 11 County Final Football Blitz at The Ragg.
Our squad displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day. We witnessed terrific performances from all all our players. In our first match, we were well beaten by Lissenhall NS. Our second match saw us produce a very spirited performance before narrowly losing out to a fine Fethard NS team.
Everybody associated with the school is very proud of our young squad who made history in reaching our first ever County Final. We can now look forward with great confidence to the Under 11 hurling competition which commences after Christmas.
Our Squad was as follows: Eoin Power (Capt.), Páraic Brosnan, Pádraic Flanagan, Callum Lawrence, Brendan Lawrence, Eoin Moloughney, Aisling Moloughney, Ava Ryan, Nicole Kennedy, Hannah Hughes, Anna McCan.
Special thanks again to Audrey & Michael for assisting with transport.
Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí.

Jack is a very dedicated player who brings his hurley to school most days. He has worked very hard to develop as a player and on Sunday he will realise his ambition of wearing the famous blue & gold jersey.
Well done Jack.

This Sunday will be a very proud day for Sarah Hickey and her family. When Sarah runs out on to the Páirc uí Chaoimh sod, she will become the first player in the history of Dualla NS to play for the Tipperary Primary Game Camogie team during a championship match.
We hope her parents Denis & Mary and brother Stephen have a great day in Cork.
All associated with the school are very proud of Sarah.
Also, we will have particular interest in the outcome of the Senior match. A Tipperary victory will see 6th Class pupil Jack Moloughney line out in the Munster Final.
Say a prayer!

Well done to 6th Class pupil Sarah Hickey on being selected to play for the Tipperary Primary Game Camogie team to face Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday, June 24th. Sarah becomes the first player ever from our school to play in a camogie championship match for Tipperary. She follows in the footsteps of Cathal D’Arcy who played on the Primary Game Championship hurling team v Clare in 2011 and also Orla Gahan who played on the Primary Game Camogie team during the National League clash with Offaly in 2010.
It is sure to be a very proud day for the Hickey family.
Maith thú Sarah.
