School Tour 2013 – Watch It Unfold!

We have landed in Fota Wildlife!
We’ve just seen a female ostrich.
Meet Mia the Tapir. Mia is a herbivore!
The giraffes are just so tall!!!
The giraffes and zebras came all the way from Africa to meet us!
Meet the cheetah. The cheetah is the fastest animal in the world, even faster than Usain Bolt!
Fota Wildlife has bred 180 cheetah cubs in the last 30 years as part of it’s breeding programme.
The female cheetah likes to be on her own in the enclosure!
The male cheetahs like to bond.
Meet Maeve The White Tailed Sea Eagle. She has resided here for 30 years.

One of the Agile Gibbon monkeys just had a little baby!
The flamingoes came all the way from South America.

The Humboldt Penguin pictured above comes from Chile and Peru.
The Bison is also a herbivore.

Great time had by all in Fota Wildlife Park. Next stop is the Glen Resource Centre.

Wonderful day had by all in sun-drenched Cork. The children were a credit to the school.
