This morning, we have been looking at Leatherback Turtles as part of work on our Class Novel: The Wreck of the Zanzibar. We learned the following:
Leatherback Turtles are nearly extinct – Aisling.
There are leatherback Turtles in Ireland-Brendan
Most of them are in the Indian Ocean – Jack
The Leatherback Turtle’s weight is 2,000 pounds- Sarah
