Latest News & Important Dates for your Diary
Dear Parents,
BLOG AWARDS IRELAND 2013
Our school website/blog was recently shortlisted for a National Award at the upcoming Blog Awards Ireland ceremony. The blog made the final sixteen and we were delighted to be the only primary school in the country to make this shortlist. Unfortunately, we did not make it on to the final shortlist of six this year. We might have better luck next year! Sincere thanks to all the parents who posted comments to the website recently. It was much appreciated.
ATHLETICS SUCCESS
Third – Sixth class pupils took part in the County Tipperary Cross Country championship this week. All our athletes ran superbly. Our four teams performed heroically to finish just outside the medal spots. Fourth Class pupil Eoin Moloughney brought home a silver medal in the 800m 3rd/4th Class boys race. Well done to all the children who participated on the day.
CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL
Well done to our Senior Footballers on their comprehensive victory over Ballycahill NS last week. Our under 13 girls Football team travel to Littleton on Tuesday, October 8th for a blitz. Transport will be required. Our young Under 11 Footballers also travel to Littleton on Tuesday, October 15th for a football blitz. Transport will also be required on this day.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION
I would like to sincerely thank outgoing Parents Association Officers Maria Gleeson (Chairperson), Joan Kennedy (Secretary) and Ann Coffey (Treasurer) for the sterling work they carried out during the past number of years. They brought great enthusiasm and commitment to their roles.
I wish incoming Dualla NS Parents Association officers Audrey Moloughney (Chairperson), Secretary (Emily Nash) and Karen Swan (Treasurer) the very best for the next few years.
They will be assisted by committee members Joan Kennedy, Yvonne Toomey, Carol Raymond, Geraldine Hickey, Grace Ryan and Marian Gleeson.

The school will be closed tomorrow Friday October 4th as the school is to be used for voting in the abolition of the Seanad referendum.
